As CEO, Jim is focused on growing Velocix by expanding its customer footprint and advancing its product portfolio. He previously led the company's Product and Marketing organizations, driving several key initiatives focused on digital transformation and cloud technologies. He has more than 20 years in the streaming video market, having held executive leadership positions at Nokia and Concurrent prior to joining Velocix. He is frequently quoted as an industry expert in major industry publications, including Multichannel News, Light Reading Cable, Heavy Reading, CED, and Faultline on trends affecting the video industry. Jim was also previously a board member at the SVTA.

As Velocix's Head of Engineering, Vaquas is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centric innovation. Prior to joining Velocix, he held the prestigious position of R&D Director at Syniverse, where he led transformative initiatives in the realms of digital transformation and cloud technologies to support 5G roaming. His focus is on ensuring that Velocix's products not only meet high-quality standards but also adapt effectively to meet customer needs. Vaquas's practical approach emphasizes the importance of well-structured processes and best practices to deliver top-tier products and contribute to Velocix's ongoing success. Vaquas is based in Bangalore, India.

Miri leads the Velocix finance team with a strong focus on integrity and customer service. “The finance organization ensures that our business is healthy and robust, so we are ready to support the needs of our customers.” She is a Chartered Accountant and has more than 20 year of experience in financial control, revenue recognition, systems implementation and shared services. Before joining Velocix in 2019, Miri held senior level finance positions in the Software and Automotive industry. Miri is based in the UK.

Gabriel leads sales and technical sales activities for Velocix in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. He is focused on expanding business with existing customers, as well as positioning Velocix as a key technology supplier in the video delivery market. Since joining Velocix, Gabriel has held senior level roles in sales and business development, leading several top-tier customer relationships. He has 20 years of knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked at Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. Gabriel is based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Ric leads Sales and Technical Sales for the Americas (North America, Caribbean, Central and South America). He leverages the strength of Velocix’s products and services to successfully deliver on customers’ business strategies. Ric has over 20 years experience in the IPTV space, from middleware to full end-to-end ecosystem solutions. Prior to Velocix, Ric held leadership roles at Commscope/ARRIS and Alcatel-Lucent, spanning Sales, Professional Services, Business Development and Product Strategy.

With a focus on customer satisfaction, Orquidea leads Professional Services at Velocix. She believes “understanding the customers’ business needs and goals are key to building trustful relationships and succeeding in project implementation.” Orquidea has worked in the cable and telco industry for more than 20 years, holding global roles in R&D, professional services, project management, and sales. Before joining Velocix, she held key positions at Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent.

Marco leads Maintenance and Managed Services globally for Velocix. With a problem-solving mindset, he is focused on developing and building healthy and trusting client relationships. He believes that a deep end-to-end knowledge of customers and their solutions is fundamental to providing the best-in-class service. Marco has more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry working on optical, mobile, routing and video technologies. Before joining Velocix he held senior roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. Marco is based in Sintra, Portugal.

As a Global HR Manager at Velocix, Charmaine spearheads efforts to embed our core values and foster a dynamic company culture that enhances employee engagement and performance. With a wealth of experience spanning over five years in leadership within our HR team, Charmaine excels in spotlighting and honouring our outstanding talents. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a PG Diploma in Human Resources, she brings over 15 years of Telecom industry expertise within HR.
